Sterling silver and gold fill naturally darken when exposed to air and humidity. To prevent tarnish and scratches, store jewelry carefully with the anti-tarnish tab that is provided. Avoid sources of sulfur or acid such as rubber bands or acid-based paper.

To clean jewelry, use a nonabrasive polishing cloth or wash in warm, soapy water. Using polish, liquid dip cleaner, or an ultrasonic cleaner is not recommended, especially for items that incorporate gemstones or pearls.

Pearls are easily scratched and are sensitive to acids, perspiration, cosmetics, and alcohol. To maintain the luster of your pearls, put them on after your cologne, hair spray, or other cosmetics.
